Victor Valera was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela in 1927. In 1941, he registers in the School of Arts of this city. In 1945 he moves to Caracas and enters the School of Pictorial and Applied Arts. In 1952 he travels to Paris to work at Jean Dewasne’s and Victor Vasarely’s ateliers.( …)

From 1953, date of his first Paris show, he carried out a vast number of individual and collective, painting and sculpture exhibitions in different museums, salons, national and international art fairs, private institutions halls, galleries, universities, in his own country as well as in Colombia, Brazil, United States, Spain, Belgium, and China. Victor Valera is one of the most acknowledged artists in his country.
